Nothing Tastes As Good As Thin Feels.

This saying " Nothing tastes as good as thin feels", is something I have heard quite a few times.. I've heard it mainly back when I went to Weight Watchers meetings. I now keep it in the back of my head to remind me when I want that extra piece of candy or suddenly get a craving for MC Donald's. It does seem to help me when I've had one of those days. You dieters know what I'm talking about.. you know when all you crave is a huge ice cream sundae, blow through a whole bag of chips, and then want to polish off with a nice meal of steak and potatos?  I am a lover of food I can't help it. It's there when I'm happy, it's there when I'm mad, sad, bored, It goes it with me, wakes up with me , It CELEBRATES with me! I can't get rid of it! AHHHH!! You see who is in control here? FOOD! Time to change that..

About 2 months ago, I decided I wanted to be in control. I wanted to gain control of me! I had let myself get up to about 220 pounds (give or take a few.) That is 20 more pounds than what I weighed when I was  pregnant full term with twins! I was pretty unhappy with myself. Fat, flabby, floppy and frumpy.. I want to be  fit, fantastic, fancy, and fabulous!

There are many things that have helped me start my journey.. Loseit! ( a weightloss forum)
Couch 2 5K, A running program for beginners) putting it out there on Facebook (accountability) and setting goals. I'm now adding some new tools. Blogging and photos (to come soon.For now, I'm going to share my goals with you....


1. Get out of the 200 club! I have about 5 pounds left to go!
2. Run a 5 K straight through. My first race is April 2nd!
3. Start Strength Training 2 times a week.
4. Add more fruits and veggies in my diet. This will help up my fiber intake as well.
5 More water!
